Company Profile

Stratum was founded in 2001 to commercialize polymer battery technology developed over many years of industry experience. Stratum’s team has more than sixty years combined experience with lithium and lithium-ion battery systems, and has developed proprietary technology that allows the industrialized production of stacked-cell lithium-ion polymer batteries. The Company is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, where its R&D and production facilities are located.  Current products are targeted at customized batteries for portable electronics, but its flexible technology gives the capability to make specialty batteries for a variety of other products, including very large cells for traction applications.
